Trunk or Treating

This halloween we went to 2 trunk or treats. The first one was at my sister-in-laws work. The second one was our ward trunk or treat.

Blanket, Binky, & Froggy

This is how Peyton looks every day, pretty much all day. She has been needing a blanket for the past few months (luckily she isnt only attached to one, she just needs a blanket) She got the frog from our Disneyland trip and has not let go of it since. I bought it for her thinking she probably wouldnt care much for it after a while like all of her other toys but she hasnt let this one go. She also recently started using a binky. She has never liked them from the beginning but then one day she found one, stuck it in her mouth and kept it there. Its really weird.

Disneyland vacation

Tairel and I decided that we needed to go on vacation one last time this year. We figured out our schedules and last weekend was the only time we could go. We needed to take Peyton with us this time so we decided to go to Disneyland. We flew out on a small plane to Long Beach, CA Friday afternoon. We stayed in a nicer hotel than we usually do, went to Disneyland, Los Angeles zoo, the beach, and an aquarium. It was a much needed vacation but way too short. Peyton actually did pretty good. There were a few times on the plane and Disneyland that she was a bit of a pain but she was surprisingly good most of the time. We did find out pretty fast that she is scared of pretty much everything. She didnt like most of the rides at Disneyland except the Dumbo ride. She didnt like sand much and she definitely didnt like having to sit in the stroller or be held the whole vacation. Vacations are completely different with Peyton than with just ourselves but it was nice to do something like that as a family. Here are a ton of pictures of our 1st vacation as a family!

Our hotel. It felt like we were just staying in a 1 bedroom apartment. Had a full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bathroom.

Los Angeles zoo. We spent Saturday at the zoo and then just chilled at the hotel the rest of the day.

Peyton was a little bored so we took the pillows off of the couch and stuck them on the floor. She played on them for a good hour. Very entertaining.

Disneyland! We spent all day on Sunday at Disneyland.

We went to California Adventure for a little while but there wasnt much for Peyton to do there.

Tairel took Peyton on the monorail while I waited in line for a ride.

Peyton was really worn out at the end of the day.

Monday we went to the beach and to an aquarium.





Peyton loved watching the sea lions and seals.

We had to take away Peytons blankets because 1 was dirty and the other we had to put away to pack. She threw a huge fit until she went into the bathroom and found a towel and then dragged it around. Also, the little red frog she got from the zoo and she hasnt let go of it since.


Tuesday we went to Disneyland again. It was way less crowded and in the middle of the day, the longest we had to wait in line was about 20 minutes. Tairel and I took turns taking Peyton on rides while the other went on bigger rides. We did a lot more this day than Sunday because there was hardly anyone there. For future, dont go to Disneyland in the summer or on weekends. Weekdays when people are at work and school is the best time to go.
