Peyton's hair is growing longer and I thought maybe it was long enough to actually be able to do something with it. We went out and bought little elastics to make pigtails. Its not much but at least I can do something with her hair now :)

Merry Christmas
This year we did our presents on Christmas eve because Tairel had to work again. Peyton enjoyed it a lot more than last year (since she was only 3 months old last year). She actually tried to open her presents and really loved them once they were opened. My brother and sisters came over later that day to exchange gifts also. We just opened presents, watched Christmas cartoons and played with our new stuff.
Here is what Peyton got for Christmas
Then on Christmas day, Tairel couldn't even get home because it had snowed so much. So, I had to help him find a parking spot so he could park his car somewhere. We pay to have our roads plowed but since it was Christmas, I guess they were never going to come and do it. We had way over a foot of snow in our driveway and road so we spent most of the day out there with our neighbors shoveling away. Many, many cars got stuck and had to have at least 4 guys push them to get out of the street. Not fun at all.

Christmas time
I figured since everyone else has pictures of their kids next to the christmas tree, I should put one up too. I know our tree is really small but we plan on buying a bigger one after christmas when they all go on sale :) We have had this tree since we got married and we were living in a small apartment when we bought it. Only half of it is decorated with ornaments or else Peyton would just take them off.

Big Teddy Bear!
My work sent me a christmas card with a gift card to Harmon's. We never shop there so we had no clue what to buy. We decided to just go there and look around for something, when we came across this.
It is originally $60 but it was on sale for $20! We had to get it. We have been wanting one for Peyton forever, but they are all so expensive. She absolutely loves it. I have a smaller teddy bear that she always plays with, so now she has her own and its more than twice her size. Here are some pics of her wrestling with Teddy.

3 down, 1 to go!
Tairel just finished his 3rd semester of school this week. It has seemed like it has taken forever to get this far but when we look back on it, cant believe how fast it has gone also. I am so proud of him. He is so smart and does a great job in school for having a full time job and family. He has 1 more semester to go and then clinicals after that, then he will be done and have his 2nd Bachelors! I really cant wait and I think he cant either.

New living room!
Over the past few months we have completely changed our whole living room. We have painted, got a new entertainment center, new coffee table, curtains, and couches! I think our living room looks way nicer and more like a home than just a bunch of random stuff in one room. This is a picture of our living room right after we bought our house. So white!

Then we painted a wall brown.

Here is our Tv on our cheap Tv stand. And the dreaded blinds for our screen door.

Here are our old couches and coffee table.

Here is our new Tv stand that is glass and wood in the front. Then there is the curtains instead of the blinds.

And last but not least, here are our brand new couches and coffee table (got the coffee table 1/2 off in the "as is" section of Ikea).
