Last week Tairel and I went to Vegas for a few days while he was on Spring Break. Tairels parents were generous enough to watch Peyton for us while we were gone. I had forgotten what its like to just be us together, sleep in, do what we want, when we want. It was really nice. We flew there so that we were able to spend more time there rather than tons of hours of boring driving. We got there Sunday afternoon, chilled at the hotel and that night went to see Tournement of Kings dinner show.
It was awesome. Tons of food too. A whole chicken, broccoli, potato wedges, a roll, tomato soup, and apple pie. Monday, we walked from our hotel which was Excalibur...

...all the way to Sahara....took us over 2 hours to walk there. Our legs killed. We rode the rollercoaster there and afterwards went to Circus Circus to play some games. We then went to a stand up comedy show which was done by Louie.
He was very clean and really funny. First time I have ever been to something like that. Tuesday, we mostly rested at the hotel in the morning and then each had half hour massages. I have never had a professional massage. It was great. Then we did some more walking and looking around other hotels.
Wednesday, we saw another show called Defending the caveman.
It was a one-man show about the differences between men and women. It wasnt as funny as Louie but it had some really good points. After that, we went and played some arcade games for a little while. Thursday, we came home. :( Sad. I really missed the time we had together and I hate how fast vacations just fly by. It was a well deserved and much needed vacation for us to get away from life for a bit and just be together :)
