First boo-boo

Peyton has bumped her head and face a few times and got small bruises, but today she was walking along the coffee table and hit her face on the corner of it. She has a fat lip and a bruise on the side of her cheek. She also has some kind of infection in her eye, its watery and has puss in it, so she didnt look too well today. Fathers day

I know this is way late but I wasnt sure if I wanted to write something about fathers day or not. Its not one of my most favorite holidays. This year is different though. Tairel is a father. He is a very good dad too. Peyton loves him so much. When he gets home from work and comes through the door, she drops everything she is doing and looks for him. It is so cute. She loves to climb up on him and growl. She definitely loves her daddy. Tairel is such a big help with her. When he is home, he helps take care of her. He even stays up late at night with her when she is sick even though he has to get up at 5am the next morning. I couldnt ask for a better father to my child.

Next is my father in law. He is the greatest grandpa ever. All the grandkids just love him, especially Peyton. He is the only grandpa she knows and he is a really good one. He has also been a great father in law to me. Calls me princess, helps Tairel and I out whenever we need it, even if its just some advice. This fathers day has been one of the best for me.

Pool

We took Peyton swimming in our pool today. No its not ours personally but its part of our community. At first she didnt like it much, it was really cold. Then after a while she started to like it because Tairel started moving her around all over the place in her turtle. Here are some pics.

I decided that this time I go get a hair cut, that I change my hair-do a bit. I have had the same hair-do since junior high pretty much. Its not a big change but its something to spice up my old hair-do. Here are some pics.

9 Months!

Peyton is 9 months old now. Its crazy. She is growing up so fast. She crawls really good now, is very vocal, growls, plays peek-a-boo, eats table food, and even pulls herself up! We have really had to start baby proofing the house. I think it is so cute that she always wants to move around and now she cant get enough of pulling herself up and standing up against things. She had her 9 month check-up today. She is doing really well, very healthy and happy. She weighs a whopping 15 pounds! She is a skinny baby but the doctor says she is very active so that probably has something to do with it. We are so happy and blessed to have Peyton in our family. She brings us so much joy and we are amazed at everything she does.
